Becker Electronics' Collision Avoidance System (CAS) is a fail-safe method to prevent collisions between personnel and vehicles. CAS has the ability to differentiate between personnel and vehicles or machinery and allows for a "go-slow" mode in restricted areas.

• CAS allows a driver to quickly determine the type and quantity of personnel/ vehicles within close proximity to his vehicle. 
• A UHF antenna, mounted to the CAS-enabled vehicle, detects closely located tags transmitting from personnel or vehicles. 
• The driver is alerted to the co-located tags by a flashing light as well as an audio alarm.
